Simon's "1 Minute Money Message" (Episode 7): Consolidating Your Super

Welcome to Episode 7 of "One Minute Money Message" where Simon will outline Simple Ideas to Grow, Protect and Manage Your Wealth.

"Money often costs too much."

That's a quote by Ralph Waldo Emerson.

Did you know that consolidating your super can save you time and money?

Having all your super in one account means you save money by only paying one set of fees, you have less paperwork and you can keep track of your super balance easily.

So you can transfer your super for free in just a few simple steps.

Log into your MyGov account, link it to the ATO, select Super, and then select Manage and then select Transfer Super.

This option will only appear, of course, if you have more than one super account.

Couple of things to keep in mind before you do.

Check things like Employee Contributions, whether you've got any insurances being paid and covered out of that fund.

So how many super accounts do you have, and when was the last time you looked at your super fees and performance?

Feel free to book a free call on our website if you'd like some help with this.

Thanks for watching!

Simon
